Want to introduce non-Irish followers to Lurgan College in the West of Ireland. The college hosts Irish language summer camps and has become a Youtube sensation in recent years with Gaelic language versions of well-known popular songs.
Their most recent upload is Africa (by Toto), in which H20 plays a prominent part:

Were you, like MB, a little bemused by all those Kenyans a few weeks back, claiming Barack as one of their own? Claiming him as a Kenyan an’ all.
The entire country of Kenya came out to greet their ‘son’ Barack on the occasion of his visit to a meeting of the African Union. Well let MB tell you something Mr & Mrs Kenyan. Barack is no son of Kenya. In Ireland, there is a well know song which includes the following (true) lines:
From the old Blarney stone to the green hills of Tara
There’s no-one as Irish as Barack O’Bama.

MB shot this short very blurry arty video to give you all a flavour of the music and crack at the wedding in Khartoum – where the Blue & White Nile rivers converge (zero relevance to the wedding or the music ladies – just geographical knowledge). Listen also for the high pitched shrieks from some the ladies present at approx 50 seconds – called ‘ullulation’. They are doing so to honour the bride or groom:

Morning Crossers
Inshallah all well in your neck of the woods. The Christmas holiday is almost upon us and no doubt many Crossers are considering a suitable festive gift for MB. But relax Crossers, MB has received far too many gifts this year and has no more space in his accommodation to accept more. So instead Crossers, MB implores you to make suitable donation to charity of your choice. Really Crossers, MB has enough. Read More
