Thanks to Patti for the ‘Delicious‘ challenge.
In any city MB has to the good fortune to visit, he tries if possible to book a place on a street-food walking tour. It’s a great way to get to know a city and its culture, as the food guides are generally giving a part-historic and part-gastronomic tour of the city. It’s also great fun to engage with fellow ‘food tourees’ and listen to their travel and other adventures.
And so it was with MB in Budapest past weekend. There were many highlights on the food tour, from a visit to a typical city ‘ruin’ pub (literally, a pub operating from a ruined building) to a visit to the city’s Central Market Food Hall (anyone for Hungarian rooster testicles? Or salami made from local horse meat?).Β But MB is a chocoholic. So the visit to the hand-made chocolate shop was hard to beat.
Delicious!
The epitome of delicious!
